Cleaning fuel tank
Clean the fuel tank at least once a year, or as re-
quired.

1 Fuel tank
a) Place a container that can hold the entire tank
volume under the fuel tank cap.
b) Open the fuel tank cap.
c) Rinse the tank with clean fuel.
d) Dispose of fuel according to the relevant statu-
tory regulations.

Cleaning filter

Clean the filter at least once a year, or as required.
Always replaced damaged filters.
Cleaning tank inlet filter

a) Open the fuel tank cap.
b) Pull the inlet filter from the tank.
c) Clean the inlet filter with clean fuel. Do not
damage the filter.
d) Mount the inlet filter in the tank.
e) Mount the screw cap.

3 Filter cup
The oil filter must be checked regularly and replaced
if necessary. Proceed as follows:
✓ Keep a cloth to collect any escaping fuel ready.
a) Turn the filter cup counter-clockwise and pull it
down.
Collect the escaping fuel, remove the gaskets
and keep them safely.
b) Turn the filter cartridge counter-clockwise and
pull it from the filter cup.
Collect the escaping fuel.
c) Clean the filter cup and filter cartridge with clean
fuel. Do not damage the filter.
If the filter cartridge is damaged, replace it.
d) Install the filter cartridge in the filter cup.
e) Mount the filter cup on the filter lid. Ensure that
all gaskets are correctly installed.
f) Dispose of the replaced filter cartridge and the
fuel according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
Cleaning fuel pump filter
The fuel pump filter must be cleaned at least once a
year, or as required. Contact the HEYLO service
department.
Replacing oil nozzle
The oil nozzle must be replaced at least once a
year. Contact the HEYLO service department.
Cleaning ignition electrodes, fan propeller
and combustion chamber
The ignition electrodes, fan propeller and combus-
tion chamber must be cleaned as required. Contact
the HEYLO service department.
2 Filter cartridge
