DTS Out
• Default setting: DTS 3 PCM
You only need to make this setting if you connected the player to
another component (AV amplifier, etc.) using one of the digital
outputs.
If your AV amplifier (or other connected component) has a
built-in DTS decoder, set this to DTS, otherwise set to DTS
3 PCM. Check the manual that came with the other
component if you're unsure whether it is DTS compatible.

Important
If you set to DTS with a non-DTS compatible amplifier, noise
will be output when you play a DTS disc.
Linear PCM Out
• Default setting: Down Sample On
You only need to make this setting if you connected the player to
another component (AV amplifier, etc.) using one of the digital
outputs.
If your AV amplifier (or other connected component) is
compatible with high sampling rates (96 kHz), set this to
Down Sample Off, otherwise set it to Down Sample On
(96 kHz audio is converted to a more compatible 48 kHz).
Check the manual that came with the other component if
you're unsure whether it is 96 kHz compatible.

Note
Even when set to Down Sample Off, some discs will only
output down sampled audio through the digital outputs.
High sampling rate DVD-Audio discs (192kHz or 176.4kHz)
always output audio down sampled to 96kHz or 88.2kHz
through the digital outputs.

Vous ne devez effectuer ce réglage que si vous avez raccordé le
lecteur à un autre composant (amplificateur AV, etc.) via l'une
des sorties numériques.
Si votre amplificateur AV (ou tout autre composant) est
équipé d'un décodeur DTS intégré, réglez-le sur DTS ; sinon,
réglez-le sur DTS 3 PCM. Consultez le mode d'emploi
fourni avec cet autre composant si vous ne savez pas avec
certitude s'il est compatible avec DTS.

Si vous sélectionnez DTS avec un amplificateur non compat-
ible avec DTS, des parasites seront audibles lorsque vous
reproduirez un disque DTS.

lecteur à un autre composant (amplificateur AV, etc.) via l'une
des sorties numériques.
Si votre amplificateur AV (ou tout autre composant connecté)
est compatible avec des fréquences d'échantillonnage élevées
(96 kHz), réglez-le sur Down Sample Off ; sinon, réglez-le sur
Down Sample On (les signaux audio à 96 kHz sont convertis
en signaux audio à 48 kHz plus généralement compatibles).
Consultez le mode d'emploi fourni avec cet autre composant si
vous ne savez pas avec certitude s'il est compatible avec les
fréquences de 96 kHz.

Remarque
Même si vous sélectionnez Down Sample Off, certains
disques ne produiront que des sons mixés en aval via les
sorties numériques.
Les DVD audio à fréquence d'échantillonnage élevée (192
kHz ou 176,4 kHz) produisent toujours des sons mixés à 96
kHz ou 88,2 kHz via les sorties numériques.
