Fault
The Kobold electric brush
switches itself off and the
LEDs flash red.
Threads have coiled around
the roller brushes.
The electric brush is not
vacuuming properly.

Possible cause and solutions
There may be loud noises when working on hard floors.
– Switch to 'normal' brush mode.
A vacuumed object may be blocking the brushes of the electric
brush.
– Switch off the cordless vacuum cleaner.
– Disconnect the electric brush from the cordless vacuum
cleaner.
– Remove the object.
Threads may be blocking the brushes of the electric brush.
– Cut the threads and remove them as described in chapter
"Changing the roller brushes
The carpet may be too dense.
– Briefly lift up the electric brush from the carpet and place it
down on a hard floor.
– Change to 'Brush off' mode on the electric brush as described in
chapter "Brush modes
to be cleaned.
– Alternatively, switch the cordless vacuum cleaner to the 'soft'
setting and continue vacuuming the carpet.
Threads may be blocking the brushes of the electric brush.
– Cut the threads and remove them as described in chapter
"Changing the roller brushes
– Remove threads, hair and fibres from the metal shaft if
necessary.
The suction duct of the electric brush may be blocked.
– Open the inspection flap (1) on the underside of the electric
brush.
– Remove the blockage.
– If necessary, use an appropriate object to do this (e.g. crochet
needle).
– Put the inspection flap (1) back on.
