c) Simulation of thermocouples "TC"
"TC" thermocouple mode enables simulation of 10 different thermocouples. You can choose the
following thermocouples:
Type J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, Wre526, Wre325
Switch on the device and wait until the operating display appears on the screen.
To switch to thermocouple mode, press the "TC"
button (16). The thermocouple type is displayed
TK-1000
at the bottom left as a small symbol. Each key-
stroke switches to another type. The temperature
value can be set directly.
The four cursor buttons (5, 6, 12, 13) can be
used to set the decimal place and the value. A
point or decimal place advances by briefly press-
ing the respective button.
The values can be set quickly by pressing and
holding the cursor buttons for >1.5 s. The respec-
tive % values are called up (0%, 100% or in 25%
increments).
Connect the red test lead to the "TC" socket (8)
and the black test lead to the "COM" socket (9).
Connect the test probes to the sensor input of
the circuit.
The red test probe corresponds to the positive pole.
