Saddle slope
recommended inclination MD-Line
The starting position is a horizontal sitting position.
If you feel that you are sliding forward, the nose can point slightly upwards.
If there is pressure on the pubic arch, you can tilt the saddle nose down slightly.
Saddle fore & aft positioning
Standard saddle
Sitting position
SQlab saddles with Active System should tend to be pushed further forward than conventional saddles.
Accordingly, they are clamped further back.
It is important that the seat bones rest on the rear, raised seat area in the MD-Line saddle and on the middle step in the ERGOLUX® models.
A seat post without offset is recommended.
Saddle clamp
The saddle must always be mounted within the marked clamping area.
The saddle should never be pushed all the way back inside the clamp. The large leverage effect can damage the rails.
Pay attention to the torque specified by the seatpost manufacturer.
The clamp should also be at least 32 mm long.
Please follow the operating instructions provided on the Internet for the installation and use of your SQlab product.
