REAR VIEW PEU-056A
1. Relay outputs as switching contacts
The 100V output of an amplifier should be connected
to the working contact. The switching contact is usually
connected to a speaker.
2. Extension connector
In this connector the PFK-200 ribbon cable must be
plugged in to connect up to three PEU-056A extension
units with PSS-224A/B basic unit.
SETTING IN OPERATION
The PEU-056A must be connected to the PSS-224A/B basic
unit using the PFK-200 ribbon cable. Through this cable the
PEU-056A is supplied with 24V and data signals from the
PSS-224A/B basic unit.
The PEU-056A basic unit is shipped with one already
mounted PRC-008 relay module. If more relay modules have
to be built in, the enclosure has to be opened and the relay
modules have to be mounted. The exact procedure you can
find in chapter PRC-008 + PRC-108A.
When

finished, the internal PEU-056A bus
address must be set.
The PSS-224A/B master device has the
fixed internal bus address 0. The one,
two or three PEU-056A slave devices
must be set to "SLAVE1", "SLAVE2" or
"SLAVE3". You have to make sure the order is correct,
otherwise the PSS will show an error message and won't
function properly.

RÜCKANSICHT PEU-056A
1. Relaisausgänge als Umschaltkontakt
Hier wird normalerweise der 100V-Ausgang von ei-
nem Verstärker mit dem Arbeitskontakt verbunden. Der
Schleifer wird mit dem Lautsprecher verbunden.
2. Erweiterungsanschluss
In diese Buchse wird das Flachbandkabel PFK-200 ein-
gesteckt, um die bis zu drei Erweiterungsgeräte PEU-
056A mit dem Grundgerät PSS-224A/B zu verbinden.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Die Erweiterungseinheit PEU-056A wird mit dem Flachband-
kabel PFK-200 mit dem Grundgerät PSS-224A/B verbun-
den. Über dieses Flachbandkabel erhält die PEU-056A ihre
Stromversorgung und ihre Steuersignale.
Das PEU-056A Grundgerät wird mit einem bereits eingebau-
ten Relaismodul PRC-008 ausgeliefert. Sollen weitere Rela-
ismodule eingebaut werden, so muss der Deckel geöffnet
und die Relaismodule eingeschraubt werden. Die genaue
Vorgehensweise ist im Kapitel PRC-008 + PRC-108A be-
schrieben.
Sind alle Relaismodule eingebaut, so
muss noch die interne Busadresse der
PEU-056A festgelegt werden.
Das Master-Gerät PSS-224A/B hat die
feste interne Busadresse 0. Die bis zu
drei Slave-Geräte PEU-056A müssen
dann intern jeweils auf "SLAVE1", "SLA-
VE2" oder "SLAVE3" gejumpert werden. Die Reihenfolge ist
zwingend einzuhalten, da sonst die PSS eine Fehlermel-
dung ausgibt und nicht korrekt funktioniert.
