SETTING IN OPERATION
Module PCM-100A generates an alarm sound in accordance
with DIN 33404 and 7 chime sounds.
The module is mounted directly into the PSS-224A/B, the
module slot stays unused.
On top of the chime module there is space for more optional
modules which will be available in future.
The audio signals are send to the connector "AUDIO OUT"
together with the remote microphone's audio signal.
MODULE INSTALLATION
Mechanical module installation is done as follows:
1. Disconnect PSS-224A/B power supply.
2. Open PSS-224A/B casing top.
3. Mount chime module inside PSS-224A/B on the right
side with control cable showing to the left side. For this
use enclosed screws M3x6.
4. Connect control cable to the 10 pin connector below
micro controller ATMEGA162.
5. Connect AF-cable to the top right pin header, ground
wire showing to the left side. Place cable below relay
cards from the right to the left side.
6. Connect other end of AF-cable to the connector next to
the XLR socket, ground wire showing to the left side.
7. Close PSS-224A/B casing top.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Das Modul PCM-100A erzeugt einen Alarmton nach DIN
33404 sowie 7 verschiedene Gongarten. Es wird direkt in
das PSS-224A/B eingebaut; der Optionsschacht wird dafür
nicht benötigt. Oberhalb des Gongmoduls lassen sich zu-
künftig weitere Module anordnen.
Die Audiosignale werden an der Buchse „AUDIO OUT" zu-
sammen mit den Audiosignalen der Sprechstelle ausgege-
ben.
EINBAU DES MODULS
Der mechanische Einbau des Moduls geschieht wie folgt:
1. Versorgungsspannung der PSS-224A/B abschalten.
2. Gehäusedeckel der PSS-224A/B öffnen.
3. Gongmodul auf der rechten Seite im PSS-224A/B mit
dem Steuerkabel nach links zeigend mit Hilfe der beilie-
genden 4 Linsenkopfschrauben M3x6 befestigen.
4. Steuerkabel an den 10-poligen Wannenstecker unterhalb
des Prozessors ATMEGA162 anstecken.
5. NF-Kabel an der rechten oberen Stiftleiste, die Masselei-
tung nach links zeigend, anstecken und unter die Relais-
karten der rechten Seite nach links führen.
6. Das andere Ende der NF-Leitung links neben der XLR-
Buchse „AUDIO OUT", die Masseleitung nach links zei-
gend, anstecken.
7. Gehäusedeckel schließen.
