SETTING IN OPERATION
The PIC-208 makes eight different allocations of program-
med line conditions possible, including gong selection, if a
fong module is installed and registered. The configuration
each single entrance as background, normal or alarm entry
is possible.
Each entrance can be configured seperately as normally
closed or normally open contacts on the side „speakerline
programming" in ProLineConfig.
Before use of the PIC-208 the module must be registered
on the configuration side in ProLineConfig and sent to PSS-
224A/B. The attitudes of the firmware of the PSS-224A/B are
only then activated.
The entrances in such a way switched that the anodes of
the entrance opto couplers over internal 10kOhm-pullup-re-
sistor on +24V to lie and the cathodes which must be short
circuit and / or released actual entrances against 0V. You can
supervise thereby 24V tensions on their presence. However

against 0V.
FOR BACKGROUND ENTRANCE USE
The entrance with the lowest number has the highest priority.
When use as background entrance within the entrances
of the same type. Active entrances with lower priority are
ignored until the entrance of higher priority is released. An
active background entrance does not affect the occupying
line. This use of the input module has the lowest priority and
should therefore for the last entrance be used.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Das PIC-208 ermöglicht acht verschiedene Zuordnungen
programmierter Linienzustände incl. Gongauswahl, sofern
ein Gongmodul installiert und eingetragen ist. Die Konfigu-
ration jedes Einzeleingangs als Hintergrund-, Normal- oder
Alarmeingang ist möglich.
Jeder Eingang lässt sich separat als Öffner oder Schließer
auf der Seite „Lautsprecherlinien-Programmierung" in ProLi-
neConfig konfigurieren.
Vor Benutzung des PIC-208 muss das Modul auf der Kon-
figurationsseite in ProLineConfig eingetragen und zur
PSS-224A/B gesendet werden. Erst dann werden alle das
Modul betreffenden Einstellungen von der Firmware der
PSS-224A/B aktiviert.
Die Eingänge sind so geschaltet, dass die Anoden der Ein-
gangs-Optokoppler über interne 10kOhm-Pullup-Widerstän-
de auf +24V liegen und die Kathoden, die eigentlichen Ein-
gänge, gegen OV kurzgeschlossen bzw. freigegeben werden
müssen. Sie können damit ebenfalls 24V-Spannungen auf
deren Vorhandensein überwachen. Es sollten aber Mindest-
lasten von unter 1kOhm gegen OV vorhanden sein.
NUTzUNG ALS HINTERGRUNDEINGANG
Der Eingang mit der niedrigsten Nummer hat bei Nutzung
als Hintergrundeingang die höchste Priorität innerhalb der
Eingänge des gleichen Typs. Aktive Eingänge mit niedrigerer
Priorität werden solange ignoriert, bis der Eingang höherer
Priorität freigegeben wird. Ein aktiver Hintergrundeingang
beeinflusst nicht die Besetztleitung. Diese Verwendung des
Eingangsmoduls hat die niedrigste Priorität und sollte des-
halb für die letzten Eingänge benutzt werden.
