SETTING IN OPERATION
For a reliable and stable PRO-LINE system a stable DC
voltage of 24V ±20% is needed. The core diameter of power
supply wires "+24V" and "0V" which lead to the remote
microphones must be big enough, to ensure a DC voltage of
at least 18V at the remote microphones in any condition.
The power supply size depends on the amount and size of
devices used in the system. With the tabular form below
you can calculate which power supply size you need. The
PEU-056A extension unit itself has no active components
and therefore it's current depends only on the installed relay
cards.
The calculated power supply should have reserves power of
about 20-30%.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Für eine zuverlässige Funktion des PRO-LINE Systems wird
eine stabile Gleichspannung von 24V ±20% benötigt. Die
Querschnitte der Versorgungsadern "+24V" und "0V" zu
den Sprechstellen müssen ausreichend dimensioniert sein,
um immer eine Gleichspannung von mindestens 18V an den
Sprechstellen unter Volllast bereitzustellen.
Die Größe des benötigten Netzteils hängt von der Anzahl
und Größe der im System vorhandenen Komponenten ab.
Mit Hilfe der Übersicht können Sie die entsprechende Netz-
teilgröße ermitteln. Die PEU-056A Erweiterungseinheit hat
selbst keine aktiven Komponenten, deshalb ist deren Strom-
bedarf nur von der Anzahl der eingebauten Relaiskarten
abhängig. Das richtig dimensionierte Netzteil sollte entspre-
chende Reserven von etwa 20-30% haben.
