Preparation before first use
REMARKS: With one glass decanter of 1,8 litre &
10 coffee filters included.
1. Check to make sure that all parts are undam-
aged. In case of any damage, contact your
supplier immediately and do NOT use the ap-
pliance.
2. Remove all the packing materials and protec-
tive film (if applicable).
3. Place the coffee machine on a stable flat sur-
face.
4. Put the filter in the holder.
5. Open the lid of the water reservoir. Fill the cof-
fee pot with cold water and pour it in the water
reservoir. Then, close the lid. Wait 1 minute for
the water to force the air out of the appliance.
6. Place the empty glass decanter on the lower
warming plate.
7. Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical
power outlet.
8. Press the once to switch ON the appliance
and RED indicator lights up to indicate that the
boiling process has started.
9. HOT WATER will soon start dripping into the
pot.
10. The ON/OFF button
5 to 6 minutes until the water reservoir is
empty.
ON/OFF button:
Boiling the water & keep warming of
lower warming plate
will turn to BLUE in
Keep warming button:
for upper warming plate
11. Press the button to switch off the appli-
ance. The ON/OFF button
turns off.
12. Repeat steps 7 to 13 a few times to clean the
appliance thoroughly before making coffee
for the first time.
13. It is normal for steam to escape during this
process and for the dripping water to make
gurgling sounds.
14. Let the appliance cool down for several min-
utes.
15. Remove the glass decanter from the warm-
ing plate. Hold it only using the handle. Dan-
ger of burns!
16. Discard the water from the first few boiling
cycles to remove any residues from the man-
ufacturing process.
17. Clean the appliance afterwards,
Note:
1. Never pour hot water in the water reservoir.
2. Due to the manufacturing process, the appli-
ance may emit some odor when switched on
first time. this is normal and does not indicate
any defect or hazard.
