BIM
(Bit ImageMode); graphic printing mode,in which abyteis

bit
Smallest information item; a signal set to 0or 1. Eight bits

BOF
(Bottom Of Form); the area at the foot of each form, in which
printingwillnotbepossible(itwillbeskippedautomatically).
buffer
Built-in memory in theprinter,in which datawill bestored
untilitisprinted.
byte
Standardunitforcharacter/symbolrepresentation.Abyte
consistsof8bits.
charactergenerator
Aresidentprinterprogram,whichconvertsacharactercode
(byte)into apixelmatrix for printing.

Unitofmeasurementforsound.

The standard initial setting of a feature or a parameter. Can

dotmatrix
