Function Key(s)
Paperload/ FORM FEED If there is no paper inserted ready
eject (less than 4 s.) for printing,causes asheet to be
inserted from theASFto thefirst
print position (Top of Form -
TOF).
If a sheet of paper is already
presentin theprinter,causesits
expulsiontotheoutputtray.
If there is no paper in the ASF or
the printer and the FORM FEED
lightindicatorisflashingslowly,
this means that there is data to
be printed. Load paper in the
ASF and press this key to
continuetheprintingoperation.
Changeprint CARTRIDGE Thefirst timethis key is pressed,
head theprinthead carriagemoves
from its rest position to the
insertion/removalposition.
The second time it is pressed,the
print head carriagemoves back to
itsrestposition.

Hold the key until the paper
is completely free .
With the printer OFF , press
POWER and
CARTRIDGE the keys simultaneously;
release first POWER then
CARTRIDGE.
The print test is printed.
POWER The light indicators start
(more than 4 s.) flashing in sequence.
The printer returns ON LINE.
ON LINE and Causes the rapid discharge
FORM FEED of a NICd battery pack.
(more than 4 s.) Throughout the discharge
operation, the light indicators
continuously light all
together and then go out
one at a time in sequence.
