Troubleshooting

Malfunction
No water emerges from the water
outlet
The flow rate is too low
The indicator light on the UVC unit
head is not lit
The filter capacity is not satisfac-
tory
Possible cause
The filter pump is not switched on Switch on the filter pump
The supply lines are clogged
The turning valve is not set to "Fil-
ter water"
The foam filters are clogged
The filter pump power is too low
The power connection is faulty or
the power plug is not plugged in
The temperature switch has turned
off the UVC lamp
The UVC lamp is defective
The turning valve is not set to "Fil-
ter water"
The filter has only been used for a
short time
The water or the pond is extremely
soiled
Too many fish and other pond ani-
mals
The foam filters are soiled
The quartz glass is soiled
The cleaning rotor rotates with dif-
ficulty
The cleaning rotor is not rotating
due to soiling
The wear limit of the UVC lamp has
been reached (insufficient radiation
power)
Remedy
Check the supply lines and clean
them, if necessary
Turn the turning valve to "Filter
water"
Clean the foam filters
Use a stronger filter pump
Check the power connection
(power plug, fuse)
Allow the UVC lamp to cool down
Replace the UVC lamp
Turn the turning valve to "Filter
water"
Wait a few days/weeks
Thoroughly clean the pond
Adhere to the reference value
Clean the foam filters
Clean the quartz glass and the
cleaning rotor
Check the cleaning rotor for wear
and replace, if necessary
 Clean the filter
 Clean the cleaning rotor
 Remove gravel from the UVC
water housing and the foam fil-
ters
 Place the filter pump at a higher
level to prevent it from drawing
in coarse dirt
 Use a pump protection bag (Art.
No. 34876) for the filter pump to
prevent intake of coarse dirt
 If the flow rate is too low, use a
stronger filter pump
Replace the UVC lamp
