Switching on and off

Risk of injury!
The spindle
machine still keeps running for a
short time after switching off the
machine.
Only put down the machine after
the spindle or disc has stopped!
M achines with rotary valve:

Start the machine by turning the control sleeve (E)
in the direction of the arrow ON (see Fig. 5:
The control sleeve (E) is engaged, the device is in
operation. Stop the device by turning the control
sleeve (E) in the direction of the arrow OFF.

M achine with lever valve:

To start the machine, press the lever (F) in the
direction of the arrow to unlock valve lever (G) (see
Abb. 6). Press the valve lever (G) in the direction of
the arrow ON. The device remains in operation as
long as the valve lever (G) is pressed. To stop the
device, release the valve lever (G). The lever (F)
engages, valve lever (G) is locked.

Comments:
The speed cannot be regulated with these devices.
There are only the states ON and OFF. The speed
is dependent on the device type. Refer to the
catalogue for this information.

Machine T 365/2:
To achieve the full braking effect when switching
off, the valve must be pressed slightly in the
direction of the arrow (off) until the machine has
completely stopped (see Fig. 7:

Adjusting the safety hood
The safety hood can be adjusted as required. To do
this, release the cylinder screw and fix it back into
place after making the adjustment (see Fig. 8:
