Operating Manual for Pneumatic Straight/Angle Grinder
General Information
This operating manual is a component part of the
scope of delivery. It must be kept legible and in the
vicinity of the unit and remain with it in the event of
resale.
This operating manual is intended for trained and
authorised expert personnel.
We reserve the right
modifications to the unit described in this operating
manual within the scope of product improvements.
Reprinting, translation
document, in its entirety or parts of it, require prior
written permission from the publisher.

The proprietor must observe the applicable

technical regulations.
The proprietor must ensure that the unit is only
operated by trained, responsible personnel.

persons are denied access to the unit.
In-house health and safety regulations must be

Intended Use
The BIAX compressed-air/straight/angular grinder
for grinding pencils is used for manual

grinding

surface cleaning

deburring

polishing and

engraving
of various materials.
The grinding machines for grinding tools are used
for:

surface finishing with rough grinders and
backing pads or for

separating work using slitting discs.
The BIAX pneumatic straight/angle grinders must
not be used for drilling or screwing.
This tool may only be driven by an air compressor.
The maximum permissible operating pressure
specified in the Technical Data must not be excee-
ded. The tool must not be used in the vicinity of
explosive, combustible or health hazardous gases.

Any use of the BIAX pneumatic straight and
angle grinder beyond the area of application
stipulated or constructional modifications to
the grinder are not permitted without prior
agreement from Schmid & Wezel. Liability for
any consequential damage is annulled in the
case of non-compliance.
