Storage

As soon as the outside temperature permanently falls below +5 °C, the heat pump should be stored
away for the winter to prevent damage through ice formation (frost bursts).
Permanently installed water pipes do not necessarily have to be deinstalled. If the
location of the heat pump is protected against heavy soiling and strong weather
influences, it is sufficient to drain the water from the heat pump and the water pipes.
Shutdown in winter
1. Disconnect all lines and pipes (see section "Deinstallation").
2. Clean the heat pump thoroughly (see section "Cleaning").
3. After thorough drying, store the heat pump in a dry, frost-free place (>+5 °C).
The heat pump is stored away for the winter.

Troubleshooting

Problem:
Heat pump does not switch on.
Heat pump does not start.
Heat pump functions but the water
does not warm up.
There is ice on the heat exchanger.
Cause:
The heat pump was not properly
installed.
The fuse of the protective device of
the power supply line has blown or
an all-pole protective device has
blown.
The three minutes required for the
heat pump to start up have not
passed.
The temperature of the pool is equal
to or higher than the set
temperature.
The desired operating mode of the
heat pump is not set.
The heat pump was just installed.
The pool water has cooled down
significantly since the heat pump
was last used.
The ambient temperature is too low
and/or humidity is high.
The gas pressure in the refrigerant
circuit is too low (see "Testing"
section)
Solutions:
Contact an authorized qualified
person.
Reset the switch.
Replace the fuse.
Wait three minutes.
The heat pump starts when the
water temperature is below the set
temperature.
Set the desired mode.
Wait 24 – 48 hours for the set
temperature to be reached.
Contact an authorized qualified
person.
Wait 24 – 48 hours for the set
temperature to be reached.
Contact an authorized qualified
person.
Start manual defrosting.
