The sprayer is operational.
If the switched-on sprayer is not used for more
than 15 minutes, the sprayer switches off auto‐
matically. LED (2) no longer illuminates and a
short beep sounds.

The sprayer is operational again.

11 Checking the Sprayer

► Switch off the sprayer and remove the battery.

► If the trigger can be pulled: Do not use your
sprayer and contact your STIHL servicing
dealer for assistance.

the battery and contact your STIHL servicing
dealer.

12 Using the Sprayer

12.1 Holding and Controlling the
Sprayer
► Carry the sprayer on your back.
► Do not bend over forwards, keep your back
straight.
► Hold the sprayer with one hand on the control
handle - wrap your thumb around the handle.
12.2

Filling the tank

► Switch off the sprayer and remove the battery.
► Place the sprayer on the ground so that it can‐
not tip over.
► Turn the cap (2) counterclockwise until it can
be removed.
► Remove the cover (2).
The sieve (1) remains inserted in the opening.
► Check the sealing ring in the cover for dam‐
age.
► If the sealing ring is damaged: Do not use the
sprayer and contact a STIHL dealer for assis‐
tance.
