INPUT, OUTPUT AND CONTROL SECTION

1. INPUT AND OUTPUT LINK ("Balanced audio")
Input and output compatible with balanced XLR cables.
In particular, "Input" is used to connect with the audio signal coming from the mixer or from another loudspeaker,
"Output Link" is used to link the signal to the other modules of the line-array, in daisy-chain configuration.
2. ATTENUATION
10-position rotary control to select the attenuation according to preset values (0, -1, -2, -3, -6, -9, -12, -15 dB)
with MUTE position to mute the system and User/Service to set the mode for any firmware update with local
connection. Please note that there is a specific procedure for updating a network system connected to Aurora Net.
3. INPUT AND NETWORK CONNECTION LINK RDNet
Section compatible with network cables with etherCON/RJ45 connectors.
In particular, "Data in" must be connected to devices such as RDNet Control 2 or Control 8; "Data Out" is used to
link the network to additional modules of the line array in daisy-chain configuration.
4. HF correction [Hz]
It allows the optimisation of the acoustic correction (particularly on high frequencies) required depending on
the distance, both in point-source and line array operation. HF1 is intended as the position to be selected for
short-distance operation, and HF2 for longer distances.
5. HORN model
Selector to correctly configure the acoustic behaviour of the VIO X206 depending on whether it is the point-source
model (with acoustic horn) or a line array element (X206-100 with waveguide).
6. STATUS LEDs
LEDs relating to module operation. A table in next page summarizes the meaning of the different LEDs.
7. SERVICE DATA USB PORT
It is a USB B port to be used only for product firmware update. For further information refer to "FIRMWARE
UPDATE".
8. CONTROL LEDs
LEDs relating to module network operation (RDNet).
In particular, "Link" ON indicates that the RDNet network is active and has recognised the device, "Active" in flashing
mode indicates that there is data traffic, "Remote Preset Active" that all local controls on the amplifier panel are by-passed
by the RDNet remote control.
