Lubricating encoder shaft

To ensure correct function of the encoder, the shaft must be lubricated.
 If the encoder is removed for an inspection, grease the shaft of the encoder using
a suitable lubricant.
8.4

Re-mounting encoder

 Remove the O-ring from the rotor shaft and check it for damage.
Replace the O-ring if it is damaged.
 Clean the sealing surface on the rotor shaft to ensure good sealing.
