13 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always switch off and disconnect the energiser from the power supply when cleaning the energiser. Always
switch off and unplug the energiser when carrying out maintenance work on your fencing system. The unit
is low maintenance, but you should still carry out regular visual checks. Check all cables and lines regularly
for damage. Have broken parts or cables replaced immediately by a specialist. Do not operate the unit if
there is damage. You can keep the device clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
