Switch off the energiser
Disconnect fence connection
directly on the energiser
and leave earth connection

Turn on the energiser
Use a fence tester to check
the output voltage directly on
the ENERGISER!
Is voltage over 6000V?
YES
Switch off the energiser,
connect to the fence and
switch on again
Use fence tester to check
voltage on fence. Is it more
than 2.5/4 kV?
YES
