7. Getting started

7.1. Inserting the batteries in the remote control

Insert the two 1.5 V R03/LR 03/AAA/micro batteries into the remote control.
 Open the battery compartment cover.
 Insert the battery so that the negative pole is placed next to the springs.
 Replace the battery compartment cover.

7.2. Setting up the device

• Place the device on a sturdy, level surface. Some aggressive varnishes can cor-
rode the rubber feet on the device. If necessary, place the device on a suitable
underlay.
NOTE!
Before making a connection to an external device, unplug
the device from the mains!

8.1. Connecting the loudspeakers

 Connect the bare ends of the speaker cables to the corresponding colour-cod-
ed sockets. SPEAKERS R (right) is for the cable pair of the right loudspeaker.
SPEAKERS L (left) is for the cable pair of the left loudspeaker.
 Connect the cable as shown in the diagram.
