1. Lösen Sie die Kupplung zwischen Motor
und Flexwelle.
2. Lösen Sie die Stellschraube von der
Flexwelle und entfernen Sie die Flexwelle
über die Rückseite des Bootes.
3. Entfernen Sie die Antriebswelle, indem Sie
sie aus der Buchse ziehen. Wischen Sie
Schmiermittel und Material von der
Flexwelle ab. Schmieren Sie die gesamte
Welle mit Schmierfett/Silikonfett.
4. Befestigen Sie die Schraube an der
Kupplung mit mittelfestem
Schraubensicherungslack. Durch die
Schraubensicherung wird verhindert, dass
sich die Flexwelle während des Betriebs
löst.
5. Setzen Sie die Antriebswelle vorsichtig
wieder ein und stellen Sie sicher, dass
zwischen der Stützstrebe und dem
Mitnehmer ein Abstand von 1–2 mm
vorhanden ist, um ein Schrumpfen der
Flexwelle unter Last zu ermöglichen.

and the flex shaft.
2. Loosen the setscrew from the flex shaft and remove the flex shaft from the back of the boat.
3. Remove the drive shaft by sliding it out of the stuffing box. Wipe lubricant and material from the flex
shaft. Lubricate the full length of the flex shaft assembly up to the drive dog using marine grease.
4. Apply thread lock to the coupling setscrew. Thread lock will help prevent the flex shaft from loosening
during use.
5. Carefully reinstall the drive shaft, ensuring that there is a 1–2mm gap between the prop strut and the
drive dog to allow for flex shaft shrinkage under load.

thoroughly in fresh water after each use and lubricate the drive system.
