OPERATION
Set up the laser
1. On the floor
or
2. On a tripod with a 1/4" or 5/8" thread
or
3. Fix the bracket supplied with as a wall mount
and set up the laser with screws on a wall
or
4. Fix the magnet of the wall mount on a magnetic
surface
or
5. Fix the unit on a column by means of the fixing
strap
POWER ON
Switch the instrument on by turning the ON/OFF knob in position ON. The instrument is now ready for
use (keypad is illuminated). An audible and optical (blinking lines) alarm indicates if the instrument was
set up outside of the compensator range. Set up the instrument on a more even surface.
To switch the instrument off turn the ON/OFF knob back to the OFF position. The instrument is now
switched off and the compensator is blocked to avoid damages during transport.
Note:
During transport the ON/OFF knob (compensator lock) must be set to OFF . Disregard may lead to
damages of the compensator.
