a) Radio Box

• Connect the line to the radio box (4) at the camera to the line to the camera (7) at the radio
box (6).
• Connect the line to the reversing light (5) at the radio box to a reversing light of your vehicle.
Connect the red line with the plus line to the reverse light and the black line to a suitable ground
or the other free supply to the reversing light.

To identify the plus line to the reversing light, either use the circuit diagram of your
vehicle or measure the voltage with a voltage meter right at the reversing light with the
reverse gear activated and the ignition on. Of course, the on-board battery minus pole
has to be connected again first.

b) Screen

There are two options to connect the screen in the vehicle:
Connection to the cigarette lighter
• Connect the included cigarette lighter cable to the connection DC 12V/24V (10).
• Plug the cigarette lighter plug into the cigarette lighter of your vehicle.
• If the connection line is too short, you may use the included extension cable.

If you cigarette lighter is not switched off with the ignition, the screen must be
disconnected when the vehicle stops. Otherwise the vehicle battery may be discharged.
Direct connection to the power supply
• Connect the included connection cable to the connection DC 12V/24V (10).
• Connect the red line to a terminal that is only live with the ignition switched on (terminal 15 of
the on-board grid).

Do not connect this terminal to continuous current; otherwise the on-board battery could
be discharged when the vehicle is parked for a longer period of time.
• Connect the black cable to the car body.
