• Drill a hole with a diameter of 12 mm behind the future position of the camera unit, so that the
plug of the line to the radio box (4) can be guided through later. The license plate frame (1) must
cover the bore after installation.
• The connection line to the radio box (4) can be placed on the left or right in the bottom area of
the license plate frame (1), so that the bore does not have to be right behind the camera unit.
• Protect the edges of the bore from rust with varnish or another corrosion protection.
• Pull the connection line to the radio box (4) through the bore and apply the rubber sleeve
already pushed over the cable to the bore so that no moisture may enter the vehicle along the
cable.
• Additionally apply elastic sealing mass (e.g. silicone) to the inside and outside of the rubber
sleeve to warrant perfect tightness.
• Attach the license plate frame (1) in the serial license plate bores with the included or other
suitable screws.

It is not important, in what direction the license plate frame (1) is installed. You may
choose this according to the situation at your car. The camera lens (3) must have a free
„view" of the area behind the vehicle.
