• Do not use the device in explosive environments. In the case of extraordinary maintenance work, only
special personnel must be deployed.
Compressed air must not be used to check the tightness and pressure in the R1234yf devices or in the

vehicle's air conditioning systems. Some air / HCF-134a mixtures are flammable under high pressure.
Such mixtures are potentially very dangerous and can cause a fire or explosion, causing injury or
damage. Further information on the safety measures and the protection of people and property can be
obtained from the coolant manufacturer.
The device must always be in the normal and intended standing position, even during small shifts the

bottle must not be shaken too much.
• Work in an adequately lit area.
• Do not inhale refrigerant and oil vapors. The vapors can also irritate the eyes and respiratory tract. To
remove residues of R1234yf from the A / C system, only use special recycling units for R1234yf. If
refrigerant accidentally escapes into the outside air, ventilate the work area well before resuming work.
• Do not use the device in direct sunlight; the sun can cause high temperatures and malfunctions. The
specified operating temperatures refer to the device protected from direct sunlight.
