3. If the information is applicable to you,
check the "Start search" line.
4. Start the program search by pressing OK.
Note
If, however, you wish to edit the search scope
or set location, select the "Edit search settings"
line. Follow the menus and make the necessary
settings in sequence.
In the "Automatic search" function you can
select whether to store the factory-preset
analog satellite radio programs and/or only
digital (DVB) radio programs in the radio
program list. Analog radio programs are not
searched for automatically; instead, only the
preset ones are used!
Radio programs are stored and listed
independently of the TV program numbers
using separate program places.
Manually searching for and storing analog
radio programs:
These settings require detailed knowledge.
1. In the "Manually search for radio
programs" menu select the "Range" line
and check "Sat".

2. Under "Satellite" select the satellite on
which you wish to receive a radio program,
in accordance with your antenna system.
3. Under "Band" select the polarization level,
i.e. horizontal low or high or vertical low or
high.
4. Select the "Frequency" line.
5. Press the round blue key briefly to start the
program search. Once you have found a
program which also transmits radio
stations, then ...
6. select the "Sound carrier" line.
7. Press OK to confirm.
8. Select, for example, 7.38 or 7.74 and you
will hear the radio station.
9. Set stereo under "Mode".
10. Press the red key to store the program.
Manually searching for and storing digital
radio programs:
(Only possible with DVB decoder)
These settings require detailed knowledge.
1. In the "Manually search for radio
programs" menu select the "Range" line
and check "DVB".

2. Under "Satellite" select the satellite on
which you wish to receive radio programs.
3. Under "Band" select the polarization level,
i.e. horizontal low or high or vertical low or
high.
4. Select the "Frequency" line and specify the
transponder frequency, if known, or press
the round blue key to start the program
search.
If a program is found, the search stops and
the program name is automatically entered.
You can also enter a program abbreviation
of your own choosing by selecting the
"Name" line.
5. Press the red key to display the program list.
6. Select an empty memory and store the
program.
7. To search for further programs, press the M
key, "Frequency" is checked.
Press the blue key again and the search
restarts etc..
If all the programs of this transponder have
been detected and stored, the system switches
automatically in a new search to the next
transponder frequency and searches for
programs with the previously set symbol rate.
Note:
Several radio and TV programs can be
transmitted via each transponder.
Many programs are transmitted at the standard
symbol rates of 22,000 or 27,500. If you wish
to receive programs with different symbol rates,
only enter values in the specified range. You
can obtain details of the frequencies and
symbol rates from satellite station listings or
from your dealer.
