Simply expressed the noise suppression sys-
tem consists of the current half picture signal,
in which components of the previous signal
are mixed. The composition of the output sig-
nal, that is the number of components of the
direct and the number of components of the
delayed half picture, are determined by the
so-called K factor. This K factor is determined
by integrated automation.
When using the automation the K factor is
dependent on the movement between the half
pictures. If there is a lot of movement, noise
suppression is not very effective.
