Montage
3.1
Abmessungen und
Einbauversionen
• Die Armatur darf nicht waagrecht eingebaut
werden. Zulässiger Einbauwinkel: größer als
15° zur Waagrechten bis senkrecht.
• Die Armatur Probfit CPA 440 in den aufge-
schweißten oder eingeklebten Adapter ein-
führen und mit der Überwurfmutter hand-
fest verschrauben.
• Auf richtigen Sitz und Sauberkeit des
O-Rings achten.
• Die Dichtfläche des Einbauadapters nicht
beschädigen
• Beim Einbau der Armatur in Einbauadapter,
die kürzer als 50 mm sind, den O-Ring in
den zweiten, weiter oben liegenden O-Ring-
Sitz eingesetzen (siehe Bild 3.7, Pos. 2).
• Den Sitz des O-Rings nicht beschädigen!
• Deshalb bei den Kunststoffarmaturen (PVC)
nicht mit spitzen und scharfen Werkzeugen
arbeiten.

Installation
3.1
Dimensions and
mounting versions
• Do not install the assembly horizontally.
Allowed installation angle: more than 15°
from the horizontal up to vertical.
• The Probfit CPA 440 assembly slides into
the welded or adhered adapter and is
hand-tightened with the union nut.
• Make sure the O-ring is properly seated and
clean.
• The sealing surface of the mounting adapter
must be protected against damage.
• When installing the assembly in mounting
adapters shorter than 50 mm, the O-ring
must be placed in the second, upper O-ring
seat (see figure 3.7, pos. 2).

• Do not damage the O-ring seat!
For this reason, pointed and sharp tools
must be avoided, particularly in the case of
assemblies made of plastic materials (PVC).
