5.1.1 Entering Patient Information

The Patient Information screen enables input of patient information that is associated with
images and videos . When the USB drive and printer are connected, images and patient
information may be saved and printed . A compatible keyboard must be attached to enter patient
information .
To enter patient information:
1 . Touch the desired field . Use the keyboard to enter the patient information (maximum of
twenty (20) characters) .
2 . Once the Patient Information is entered into the screen, start the case by touching the
Start Case icon or text . See "4 .6, Video Specialty Setup" for information about the Video
Specialty preset selection .
NOTE: The Specialties field always defaults to previous case. If you want to change it, see the
next section (Section 5.1.2).
NOTE: A compatible keyboard must be connected to the front or rear USB port to enter patient
information.
NOTE: To skip the Patient Information Screen, touch the Home Screen button to return to the
Home Screen.
WARNING! The enclosed USB flash drive is a portable data storage device that can
be used for the storage, data back-up and transfer of electronic files. This device is
unencrypted therefore is not a secure way to store, transfer or back up electronic files
containing, protected health information, sensitive information, individually identifiable
health information, or patient data. Should you choose to use this unencrypted USB
flash drive for the storage, transfer or back-up of electronic files containing protected
health information, sensitive information, individually identifiable health information, or
patient data, you are responsible for the contents stored on this device and liable for
any data loss or data breach resulting from the use of this device with protected health
information sensitive information, individually identifiable health information, or patient
data. Prior to using this USB flash drive, you should consult with your institution's
Privacy designee and policies regarding protecting patient information and the use of
portable data storage devices.

5.1.2 Selecting Video Specialty Preset

To select Video Specialty Presets:
1 . Touch the Specialty field .
2 . Choose the desired Specialty from the displayed list by touching the icon or the text . The
Video Specialty displayed on the LCD touch screen is automatically selected, and the video
settings are immediately effective in the video output .
