Cleaning and maintaining the machine
► Press the tool unit backwards and swing it to the right.

► Clean the area around the hole (1) with a brush.
► If necessary, use a soft cloth and some spirit.
► Check the blade (2). If necessary, replace the blades
(see section 8.3).

7.9 Servicing the crimping tool

To reach the crimping tool, you must dismantle the strand-
ed wire fixing unit.
► Ensure that the stranded wire fixing unit is located in the
front position (figure 7.4, B).
► Remove the bottom right screw of the stranded wire fix-
ing unit (figure 7.4, 4).
► Pull out the stranded wire fixing unit carefully, forwards.
For Crimpfix L: Ensure that the spacer ring stays on the
axis.
► Tilt the stranded wire fixing unit to the side and place it
down carefully.

Weekly (only L PZ3 and LS PZ3):

► Remove the fixing screw of each crimp die (2.5 mm Al-
len key).
► Pull the crimp dies up and out.
