RECOMMENDATION
Measure on a stable horizontal surface. Use a hard surface, not carpet.
Weigh yourself on the same spot. An uneven surface may aff ect the results.
Weigh yourself without clothes, before a meal, approximately at the same time of day; ideally, in the morning.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. Open the battery compartment cover located in the bottom part.
2. Insert one CR2032 type batteries in the battery compartment, and replace
the cover carefully.
WEIGHING
1. Select the measuring unit using the switch underneath (kilogram, pound,
stone).
2. Put the unit on a stable horizontal surface.
3. Put one foot in the center of the weighing surface to switch the unit on. 8 will
be displayed (Fig. 1).
4. Wait until the 0.0 value is displayed (Fig. 2).
5. Step onto the weighing surface carefully. Make sure not to slide, or turn the
unit over. The result will appear on the display.
6. Step off the weighing surface.
7. The unit will switch off automatically after a couple of seconds.
OTHER INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY
If the Lo warning is displayed after switching on (Fig. 3), or there is nothing on
the display, the batteries are dead and have to be replaced. Always replace all
the batteries, do not combine new and old batteries.
