Bluetooth® phone call

Answering/rejecting a phone call

If you are receiving a call, the display shows
"INCOMING CALL" and the phone number of the
caller or his entry in the phone book. The active
audio source is muted and the ring tone is sent to
the loudspeakers.
In case of an incoming call, you must answer or
reject the call. At this time, it is not possible to
perform another operation using the car sound
system.
To reject the call,
button 4.

To answer the call,

The display shows "IN CALL–HANDSFREE".
Your caller's voice is broadcast via the loud-
speakers.
During the phone call, you can change the vol-
ume by means of the volume control >.
Note:
During the Bluetooth® phone call, no traffi c
or navigation announcements are switched
through.
Making a phone call (DIAL NEW )
There are several ways of making a phone call via
the car sound system:

Entering a phone number and dialing or
storing it under a button of the keys
•
Dialing a number stored under a button of
the keys (section "Speed dial")
•
Selecting a phone number stored in the
phone book of the device (see the section
"Storing and calling a phone number in the
phone book of the device")
•
Selecting a phone number stored in the
phone book of the connected cell phone
(see the section "The phone book of the cell
phone")

To enter a phone number and make a call or to
save it,
u
open the Bluetooth® menu.
u
Press the rocker switch
"DIAL NEW" menu item is selected.
u Press the OK button : to call up the menu
item.
Now you can enter a phone number:
u
Enter the number sequence by pressing the
corresponding buttons of the A keys.
After entering one digit, the device automatically
switches to the next one. To correct any entry er-
rors, select the corresponding digit by pressing
the rocker switch or @ again.
To call the number entered,
button 5.

The display shows "CALLING" and the dialed
phone number or its entry in the phone book. If
the number is invalid or the call cannot be made
for some other reasons, the display briefl y shows
"CALL FAILED".
To store the phone number entered under a but-
ton of the keys A,
u Press the OK button :.
The display shows "Press Number Key to Store
OR Press Accept to Call".

Press the desired key
The display briefl y shows "Number Saved". The
number is stored under the selected button and
you are returned to the number entry.

Ending a call

To end a call,
u button 4.
press the
The display shows "CALL ENDED".
You can also end the phone call by switching off
the device.
