5 Commissioning

5 Commissioning
Before commissioning, the proper seat of all
jumpers must be ensured. For commission-
ing, proceed as follows:
1 Remove the isolating strips between the
holder and the battery, and check to see if
the battery is properly inserted in the bat-
tery holder. If not, insert a battery accord-
ing to the instructions in section 4.1.
2 Insert the KE312 into the system box.
3 If applicable, insert the SMxxx interface
modules in the KE312.
4 Close off slots that are not occupied with
interface modules (X14, X16) using dum-
my panels (see section 5.3).
5 Turn on the voltage supply for the system
box.
6 Connect the operating computer and set
the time with the BS300 system.
7 Configure the interfaces and program the
tightening system.
5.1 Display elements
Two LEDs are installed on the front panel of
the KE312 communication unit which indi-
cate the operating states:

LT/LTU reset button in the system box.

This interface is intended to connect a pro-
gramming device or an SD301.
