W ear ear protectors w hen impact drilling.
E x posure to noise can cause hearing loss.

Use the auxiliary handle ( s ) . Loss of control can
cause personal injury.
Hold the po w er tool by insulated gripping

Do not touch the drill bit or the w orkpiece
immediately after operation ; they may be

1 0 . If the drill bit cannot be loosened even you
open the ja w s, use pliers to pull it out. In such a
case, pulling out the drill b it b y hand ma y result in
injury by its sharp edge.
Safety instructions w hen using long drill bits
Never operate at higher speed than the max-

imum speed rating of the drill bit. At higher
speeds, the b it is likel y to b end if allo w ed to rotate
freel y w ithout contacting the w orkpiece, resulting
in personal injury.

Al w ays start drilling at lo w speed and w ith the
bit tip in contact w ith the w orkpiece. At higher

in personal injury.

Apply pressure only in direct line w ith the bit
and do not apply excessive pressure. Bits can
b end causing b reakage or loss of control, resulting
in personal injury.

Important safety instructions for
battery cartridge

Before using battery cartridge, read all instruc-
tions and cautionary markings on ( 1 ) battery
charger, ( 2 ) battery, and ( 3 ) product using
battery.

Do not disassemble or tamper the battery
cartridge. It may result in a fire, excessive heat,
or e x plosion.

If operating time has become excessively
shorter, stop operating immediately. It may
result in a risk of overheating, possible burns
and even an explosion.

If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them out
w ith clear w ater and seek medical attention right
a w ay. It may result in loss of your eyesight.

Do not short the battery cartridge:

Do not touch the terminals w ith any con-
ductive material.
Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-

tainer w ith other metal objects such as
nails, coins, etc.
Do not expose battery cartridge to w ater

or rain.
