SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Special notes
• Do not use the device until you have read the entire operating manual. This
appliance is designed for domestic use only.
• The appliance becomes very hot during use. Make sure that you do not come
into contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance during operation. Touching
the unit while it is in operation may cause burns.
• Keep small children away from the unit.
• Make sure that small household objects, including connecting cables, do not
come into contact with the surface of the appliance, as these materials are
usually not heat-resistant.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when frying food. Oils and fats can
catch fire or boil over due to overheating.
• Do not turn on the appliance until a pot has been placed on the hob.
• Do not place pots or pans weighing more than 25 kg on the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it is technically faulty. Technical faults must be
rectified by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person.
• If a technical fault occurs, immediately unplug the power cord from the
wall outlet and contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair the unit
yourself.
• Follow the instructions given in the operating instructions. Ensure that all
persons using the device are familiar with the operating instructions.
• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner.
• The surrounding furniture, enclosures and all materials used in the installation
must be resistant to temperatures at least 95°C above room temperature and
above.
• The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by
improper installation due to failure to observe the heat resistance of the
materials surrounding the equipment or by placing cabinets, enclosures or
the like at a distance of less than 4 mm from the equipment.
• This equipment complies with all European safety regulations. Note that the
surfaces of this equipment will still become hot during use and that the heat
will remain for some time after operation.
Child safety
• It is recommended that babies and young children should not be near or
touch the unit at any time.
• Ensure that small children who are in the kitchen while the appliance is in use
are supervised.
