Selection of voltage

Caution!
Ø The following work may only be carried out after
the device has been disconnected from the mains,
as contact parts may contain hazardous voltages.
The mains voltage must correspond to the mains
voltage specified on the type sign.
A window (appliance socket) at the back of the
control unit shows the voltage to which the device
has been set. The standard pre-set voltage for
European operation is: 230V.
If the specified value does not correspond to the
actual mains voltage, the voltage selection must be
changed.
Ø Release catch on fuse holder with suitable
screwdriver.
Ø Pull out fuse holder.
Ø Pull out voltage selection insert.
Ø Replace voltage selection insert in such a way that
the desired voltage range is readable.
Ø Insert fuse holder until audible engagement of catch.

Basic function test
6.1
Preparation

Ensure that the accessories used for the test function
correctly.
Ø Plug cable of the foot controls into the control cable
socket (14) at the back of the device.
Ø Place hose arrangement in coolant pump (11)
(GA835 only).
Ø Connect device to mains.
6.2
Implementation of test
Ø Switch on the device with the mains ON (6) switch
- The mains ON (7) display is illuminated.
Ø Push down foot controls up to stop.
- The motor now runs at maximum speed.
Select flow rate of coolant pump (GA835 only)
Note
•
The coolant pump (11) can only be switched on and
off via the foot controls.
•
Upon switch on of the pump, also the pump display
(8) is activated.
•
The coolant pump is only started by activating the
motor.
•
After releasing the foot control pedal, the pump
briefly reverses the direction of rotation (approx. ½
revolution), to prevent any further dripping of the
coolant.
Ø To increase flow rate: turn button (9) clockwise.
Ø To decrease flow rate: turn button (9) anticlockwise
Ø The pump output is infinitely variable.
