Deleting data:
1. Press the MEAS button without performing a measurement.
2.
Then press the MEM button at the same time. The current record is
deleted.
Perform measurements:
contactless
1. Glue the reflective tape to the object whose speed is to be measured. The
reflective tape should be attached as close as possible to the outer edge
of the object to be measured.
2. Press the test button (MEAS) to switch on the device and to start the
measurement process.
3. Aim at the object with the PAN Multitacho's laser beam, preferably at
right angles
4. Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
with contact
1. Attach the optic converter to the PAN Multitacho's. Select one of the
supplied measuring adapters and slide it onto the converter. The pin must
snap in.
2. Press the test button (MEAS) to switch on the device and to start the
measurement process.
3. Hold the measuring adapter to the rotating object.
4. Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
Measurement of very low speeds
If you want to measure very low speeds, apply multiple reflection markers at
even intervals. After the measurement, divide the measurement result by the
number of markings to get the correct speed.
