4. Pflege und Wartung
Pflege
Zur Reinigung verwenden Sie bitte nur ein feuchtes
Tuch ohne scharfe Reinigungsmittel. Achten Sie darauf,
dass keine Flüssigkeit in den Computer gelangt.
Bauteile (Griffe, Sitz), welche mit Schweiß in Kontakt
kommen, müssen mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt
werden.
Wartung
Grundsätzlich bedarf das Gerät keiner Wartung.
Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig alle Geräteteile und den
festen Sitz aller Schrauben und Verbindungen.
Tauschen Sie defekte Teile über unseren Kunden-
service sofort aus. Das Gerät darf dann bis zur
Instandsetzung nicht verwendet werden.
Schmieren der Kette
Ein korrekte Schmierung ist der Schlüssel für jahrelangen sor-
genfreien Gebrauch und wird alle 6 Monate benötigt. Um auf die
Kette zuzugreifen, entfernen Sie die rechte Logoabdeckung und
tragen Sie reichlich Schmieröl wie direkt auf den unteren Teil
der Kette auf. Legen Sie einen Lappen unter die Kette, um über-
schüssiges Öl aufzufangen. Drehen Sie die Kurbel, indem Sie das
Schwungrad von Hand drehen und die gesamte Kette einölen.
Prüfung der Kettenspannung
Die Kettenspannung sollte alle 6 Monate überprüft werden. Zum
Überprüfen der Kettenspannung drücken sie den unteren teil
nach unten (siehe Abbildung unten links). Legen Sie ein Lineal
oder ein Maßband auf das Hauptrahmenrohr und notieren
Sie die Höhe der Kette, gemessen von der Unterseite. Lassen
Sie die Kette los und messen Sie die Höhe der Kette erneut
an derselben Stelle. Die Differenz sollte 5-7mm betragen.
Wenn die Durchbiegung größer als 7mm ist, muss die Kette
gespannt werden, bis die Durchbiegung korrigiert ist. Die Kette
wird mit der Kettenspannvorrichtung gespannt. Passen Sie die
Kettenspannung gleichmäßig zwischen der linken und rechten
Seite an, bis die richtige Durchbiegung erreicht ist.. zum spannen
der Kette muss das Gehäuse geöffnet werden
4. Care and Maintenance
Care
When cleaning, use only a moist cloth and avoid harsh
cleaning agents. Ensure that no moisture penetrates
into the computer.
Components (handle, seat cushion) that come into
contact with perspiration, need cleaning only with a
damp cloth.
Maintenance
In principle, the equipment does not require
maintenance.
Regularly inspect all parts of the equipment and the
secure seating of all screws and connections.
Promptly replace any defective parts through our
customer service. Until it is repaired, the equipment
must not be used.
Lubrication of the chain
Lubrication is the key to years of worry-free usage and is
required every 6 months. To access the chain, remove the right-
side logo cover and liberally apply lubricating oil such as 3-In-One
directly onto the lower portion of the chain. Place a rag under
the chain to catch excess oil. Rotate the crank by rotating the
flywheel by hand and applying oil to the entire chain.
Chain Adjustment
The chain tension should be checked every 6 months. To
check the chain tension, apply a downward force on the lower,
center portion of the chain as shown in the picture below. Place
a ruler or tape measure on the main frame tube and record
the height of the chain, measuring from the bottom of the chain
teeth. Release the downward force and measure the height of
the chain again at the same spot. Subtracting the 2 recorded
values will give you the deflection. This should not exceed 5 to
7mm. If the deflection is larger than 7mm, the chain will need to
be tightened until the deflection is corrected. The chain is tighte-
ned using the chain tension assembly. Adjust the chain tension
evenly between the left and right side until the proper deflection
is reached.
