4.2 Cleaning

•
Remove ashes from the firebox regularly and in good time, and empty the ash box (accessory). If the
firebox is not regularly cleaned of ashes, there is a risk that the combustion air openings will become
clogged and the appliance will suffer damage.

The appliance may only be cleaned when cold.
•
Before cleaning the panes, cover the fireplace bench and flooring. Then spray the glass with window
cleaner and let it take effect slightly. Rub off any dissolved dirt with an absorbent cloth or kitchen towel.

Prevent door or glass seals from coming into contact with water or cleaner, otherwise they will harden
and their function can no longer be guaranteed. Only intact seals ensure that your stove will function
properly.

Note regarding corner units: When cleaning is complete, close the door until it is in contact. Then lift and
press lightly to ensure the hook engages correctly. Once the locking hook is engaged, close it completely by
applying pressure.
