2.9 First start up
When the hardware and software has been correctly installed, the program is
ready for the first start up.
For correct operation of the Greenlinkbox SLT.22 with F-Central, please follow
one of the installation procedures below, depending on the individual situation.
2.9.1 Installation Greenlinkbox SLT.22 via USB with PC
1. Ensure all equipment is voltage free (Greenlinkbox SLT.22 and PC).
2. Check if all connections and settings (dipswitches) are correct.
3. Switch on the Greenlinkbox SLT.22 and your PC.
4. If a New hardware found window appears, answer all pop-up questions
with yes.
5. If a Hardware installation window appears with the message that the
existing hardware does not pass the Windows Logo Test, still select
Continue.
6. The COM-gate number, used by the Greenlinkbox SLT.22, must be known
in F-Central.
7. This COM-gate number can be found under CDS IMC700 USB modem
properties in the configuration window.
8. For Win 98/ME/2000: Start à Settings à Configuration window à Modem.
9. For XP: Start à Configuration window à Telephone and modem options à
Modem.
10. Enter the COM-gate number, to which the Greenlinkbox SLT.22 is
connected, in F-Central route settings.
11. Installation of Greenlinkbox SLT.22 for PC and F-Central completedd.
2.9.2 Installation Greenlinkbox SLT.22 via RS-232 with PC
1. Ensure all equipment is voltage free (Greenlinkbox SLT.22 and PC).
2. Check if all connections and settings (dipswitches) are correct.
3. Switch on the Greenlinkbox SLT.22.
4. Switch on the PC.
5. The COM-gate number, used by the Greenlinkbox SLT.22, must be known
in F-Central.
6. Enter the COM-gate number, to which the Greenlinkbox SLT.22 is
connected, in F-Central route settings.
7. Installation of Greenlinkbox SLT.22 for PC and F-Central completed.
