The unit is delivered from factory, without any accessories mounted. These are to be installed
prior to initial unit installation or alternative after commissioning, if further functionality is
requested. The detailed installation of one or more accessories, is illustrated on the leaflet fol-
lowing each accessory .
Preheats incoming air, by installing an electrical preheating element (accessory) The preheat-
er increases the T1- outside air temperature, and reduces the risk of ice in the heat exchanger
in very cold outside conditions.
The preheater is an external enclosure, connected and controlled by the HCC2 Alu controller.
The bypass damper overrides the heat exchanger functionality. This is used in summer condi-
tions, where colder outside air, can be used for cooling, if inside temperature exceeds an
upper temperature limit.
For controlling HCC2 Alu units, Dantherm recommends using the display equipped remote
control, designed specific for this range of units.
AUTO
HCC2 Alu can be fitted with Humidity (RH%) and/or VOC (organic chemicals) sensors. These
sensors will continuously monitor the extract air, and adjust the air flow level accordingly. This
will results in adequate level of ventilation, with lowest possible electrical power consump-
tion. If a remote control is connected, the sensor level will be shown in the display using 3
level icon.
