Preparation for use

The device is switched off and nothing shows on the display.
➔ Connect the electrode cable to the connector plug for
Channel A on the front of the device.
➔ If you intend to use both channels: connect another electrode
cable to the connector plug for Channel B.
Prepare the skin areas to be treated
Clean sweat, moisture, and dirt from the skin areas that are to
be treated. The skin must be dry (do not use any ointments or
creams) and undamaged.
➔ Take the body-surface electrodes out of the protective
packaging.
➔ Connect the electrodes to the electrode cable(s) (which are
supplied).

Place the electrodes

If necessary, two different body parts can be treated using two
channels. One electrode cable with two self-adhesive electrodes
is connected to each channel.
➔ Position the electrodes appropriately for the selected
program (see 'Program overview', page 11 and the elec-
trode systems shown in the folder included with these
Instructions for Use). Observe the safety instructions
during this procedure (pages 6ff)!
➔ The electrodes can be attached to the foil again after treat-
ment and stored in the protective packaging.
