Initial Commissioning
Fasten the mounting frame on the wall using two
screws:
1. Drill two holes, one above the other, 110
mm apart.
2. Insert dowels and screw the screws in. The
screws must stick out approx. 4 mm.
3. Hang the device on the screws.

Configuring the PBX for Provisioning

You will find more information in the Instructions/help for the PBX under
Functions, Uses, Concepts > DECT Phones > COMfortel WS-500S / WS-
500M.
Requirements:
• PBX that supports provisioning (page 21)
• You need to know the COMfortel WS-500S/500M's MAC address (see label
stuck on back of device).
• You need to know the mobile device's IPUI
Note: You can find out the handset's IPUI on the packaging label or scan
it in. Alternatively, you can view the IPUI on the display. To do so, press
the centre of the control key
The first entry you see is the IPUI. Example: 1: 029E74A560
Note for COMfortel WS-500M: For a multi-cell system with more than
one base unit, you must configure the additional base stations manually
(page 35).
