Send Service designates which service center you want to use for sending the

next SMS message.
Please note: the default Send Center is SMS Center 1.
New SMS alert
If activated, a brief beep is heard every time a new SMS message is received.
Press Menu, select SMS and press OK.

Select New SMS Alert and press OK.

Select ON or OFF using the navigation keys

- Ringer - Select the melody and volume for your handset and base ringers.
- Tones
- Key Tone - Every time a key is pressed, a brief beep is heard
- Confirmation Tone
- Low Battery Tone (handset only)
- Out of Range - sounds when max. range is exceeded (handset only)

Press Menu, select Settings and press OK.

- Date & Time - See page 78.
- Alarm - The activated alarm is displayed in standby mode by
sounds for 30 seconds or can be deactivated immediately by pressing the
softkey under Stop.
- Appointments - You can set 5 different appointment reminders. A signal is heard
on the base at the defined time and
appointment will further be displayed. If you do not need the reminder any longer,
press Clear.
- Display
- Handset name - To better distinguish between handsets, you can give each
handset a name.
