Requirements for safe use

– You have read
ty" from page EN-5 and understand all the
safety notices.
– The appliance is installed and connected
as described in chapter „Start-up" from
page EN-21.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to damage to property.
The interior light must only be used
■
to illuminate the interior of the appli-
ance. It is not suitable for lighting a
room.
The temperature controller (3) can be used to
switch the appliance on and off. The tempera-
ture controller is on the right wall in the fridge
and is infinitely adjustable.

Switching on
1. Set the temperature controller (3) to a set-
ting of between '1' and '7'.
The appliance is then switched on. The
compressor starts to work, the refrigerant
flows through the pipes and a quiet hum-
ming sound can be heard.
The interior light will switch on as soon as
the door is opened and will switch off if
the door is closed.
2. If the appliance is making unusual noises,
check that it is stable and remove any ob-
jects that may be on top of it.
Switching off
1. Set the temperature controller (3) to "0".
The compressor is switched off. The ap-
pliance doesn't refrigerate.
2. To switch the appliance off completely,
pull out the mains plug.
3. Empty the appliance and clean it (see
"Care and maintenance" on page EN-18).
4. Leave the door open slightly to avoid
mould formation.
