9. Close the refrigerator door and screw the
hinge tight.
To do this, use the two screws that previ-
ously held the hinge in place.
You have successfully changed the door
hinges.
Changing the door hinges of the
freezer
1. Unscrew the hinge screw on the bottom
left of the freezer. Use the cross-headed
screwdriver to do this.
2. Open the freezer door and remove it.
3. Remove the hinge from the lower pin of
the freezer door, turn it 180° and place it
on the pin above the freezer door.
Set the freezer door aside.
4. Remove the two covers and unscrew the
two screws of the door latch.
5. Turn the door latch 180° and fix it to the
opposite side. Use the screws that previ-
ously held the door latch in place.
Make sure that the locking tappet screw
holes are placed exactly above the mark-
ings in the appliance wall.
6. Push the two covers into the door latch
again.
7. Insert the freezer door – rotated 180° – on
the opposite side.
Insert the freezer door at the top and firm-
ly screw in the bearing plate and locking
tappet.
Make sure that the locking tappet screw
hole is placed exactly above the markings
in the appliance wall.
8. Cover the holes left by unscrewing the
bearing plate and locking tappet on the
opposite side of the freezer with the two
round and the rectangular cover stickers.
9. Screw the hinge tight underneath the
freezer door with the hinge screw.
You have successfully changed the hinges of
the freezer door.
The installation recess and
ventilation
The installation recess must fulfil various re-
quirements.
– The installation recess must not have a
rear panel and must have the following
measurements:
– Height (H) min. 880 mm
– Width (W) min. 560 mm
– Depth (D) min. 550 mm
