12.3 PIN code block

• General Information
The heater is protected by a security code against unauthorised use.
The PIN (Personal Identity Number) code is a customisable 4-digit code.
When enabled, it prevents access to the following settings:
• Selection of Comfort mode: Access to Comfort mode is prohibited, only
Auto, Eco and Frost Protection modes are available.
• Open window detection settings.
• Setting the Eco mode temperature.
• Setting of Frost Protection mode temperature.
• Presence detection setting.
3 important steps are required for the fi rst use of the PIN code:
1- PIN code initialization: Enter the preset PIN code (0000) to access
the function.
2- PIN code activation to lock the settings that will be protected by the
PIN code.
3- PIN code customisation: replace 0000 with the customised code.
• PIN code initialization
By default, the PIN code is not enabled. Access to settings is only avai-
lable in Standby mode.
1- The default PIN code is 0000. Press
fl ashes. Save by pressing
2- For the other numbers, select 0 by pressing

The PIN setting is started and the next setting is displayed: PIN code
activation.

The PIN code is enabled. Any change to the confi dential settings listed in
"General Information" is now impossible.
• PIN code customisation
If the PIN code has just been enabled, follow the steps described below.
Otherwise, it is necessary to copy steps 1 and 2 of the initialization pro-
cess as well as steps 1 and 2 of the activation process before customising
the PIN code.
Please note that PIN code customisation can only be performed after
completing the initialization and the activation of the PIN code.
