10.4 Boost function

Important: Boost mode can be activated at any time, regardless of the
operating mode used (Auto, Comfort, Eco or Frost Protection).
In Auto mode, an automatic Boost will be activated at the beginning
of each programming period in "comfort" mode (see paragraph on
programming).
To activate the Boost mode manually, press
is set to the maximum for the required time period. The 60-minute timer
fl ashes by default.
• Press fi rst: Boost
During the fi rst minute: the boost symbol and the heating indicator
appear, the duration timer fl ashes.
During the fi rst minute, it is possible to change the Boost duration from 0

After 1 minute, the Boost timer starts and the time fl ows minute by minute.
Note: After 1 minute, it is possible to temporarily change the duration:
the change is valid only for the active Boost and therefore not recurring.
The Boost can stop for 2 diff erent reasons:
- the display shows
The fan continues to run but does not heat up. Check that there is nothing
in front of the ventilation grille so as not to block the air fl ow. The fi lter may
be clogged with dust, it must be cleaned.
Note: If the fi lter is clogged or if the grille has been covered unintentionally,
a special sensor turns off the device. Normal operation of the device will
resume the next time it is started, if the fi lter or grille is not blocked and only
after the fan has cooled down.
- If the ambient temperature reaches the maximum Boost temperature
during the timer time:
The fan turns off but the Boost mode is still active: the timer remains displayed,
the Boost symbol and the heating indicator fl ash on the display. When the
temperature falls below the maximum permitted temperature, the fan restarts
until the end of the timer.
• Second pressure = Boost deletion
The cursor moves to the previous active mode and the set temperature is
displayed.

10.5 Post-ventilation

When the fan and the heating cartridge turn off , the ventilation continues to
operate for a few seconds to preserve and optimize the life of the product.
The seconds are displayed and the countdown begins, the keyboard is
disabled during post-ventilation.

10.6 Indication of Boost time

On the device display, a selector switch indicates the level of power con-
sumption by matching it to the relevant colour: red, orange or green. Then,
depending on the set temperature, it is possible to choose the level of
energy use. As the Boost time increases, consumption will also increase.
The indicator is displayed in Auto, Comfort, Eco and Frost Protection mo-
des, at any temperature level, and depends on the Boost time.
